==== Akeeba Backup ====

=== Backup your site ===

Browse to the Akeeba Backup component and select "configuration".

Define your "output directory" and what you want to backup (ex. full site backup). Everything else should be fine.

Go back to the Akeeba startpage and select "backup now"

=== Recover your site ===

Place your .jpa backupfile in a new directory. Your webserver must be able to create files in the dir (chown -R www-data:www-data).

Download Akeeba Kickstart [[https://www.akeebabackup.com/download/official/akeeba-kickstart.html|HERE]] and unzip it in the same dir as the backup. 

Browse to the kickstart.php file in your browser and follow the instructions.
