Why do I prefer Xbox?
Well… there are several reason why I like Xbox. Iam totally not a fanboy. Xbox isnt the best but its good enough for me.
The beginning
As a kid I used to play DOSgames on my 200 MHz computer. I didnt have a console. On one of my birthdays my Father gave me a BRAND NEW Voodoo graphiccard. So amazing, with Windows 95 I was able to play “Star Wars Rogue Squadron” and many more games which needed “Glide”. I also played Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, Winter Games, Live Club, Redhooks Revenge, Tomb Raider 1 and many more old games. You see, I wasnt a console person at all.
The first consoles
I got in touch with consoles at my best friends house. He had an american dad so he always had alot of games. We played Playstation 1 and Super Nintendo. The Playstation was cool but we used to play not so great games. Super Nintendo was the best. I remember that we played “Ninja Turtles - Turtles in Time”.
Next gen consoles
Soon he had a Playstation 2 and a Xbox. The difference between both: games and controller. They were the same but we used to play NBA and WWE on PS and Conflict Desert Storm, Halo and Timesplitters on Xbox. I always prefered FPS and the controller was better. The Playstation controller was so small that I felt uncomfortable with it. Soon I bought my own Xbox with Mercenaries, Freedom Fighters, Halo2 and TimeSplitters.
Xbox 360 vs Playstation 3
I never asked myself “Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?”. My friend bought a Xbox 360, so did I. Playing Call of Duty 2 and FarCry Instincts Predator with a friend was the best that could happen. I had no friends with a Playstation 3. I bought my first Playstation 3 in a GTAV bundle and played the exclusive titles, they are not that good and graphic… pfff who cares? I cant play games with that controller. The only thing I like to play is Ratchet and Clank. Thats it.
Xbox One or Playstation 4
Same as before… No friends with a Playstation 4. Well, I heared the “used games” and “geo block” storys but I still preordered the Xbox One and I dont regret it. The PSNetwork hack, DDOS and other storys were alot worse than paying Xbox Live for 25€ a year and having fun with friends.
Why I would buy any console
