Commands

hwe-support-status --verbose	Check support status
ubuntu-support-status	Check if your installed packages are supported
ubuntu-support-status --show-unsupported	Lists your unsupported installed packages
apt-get install --install-recommends linux-generic-lts-xenial	Install the HWE kernel derived from 16.04 (xenial)
apt-get install --install-recommends linux-generic-lts-trusty	Install the HWE kernel (trusty)

Debian:

check-support-status	Check if your installed packages are supported

If check-support-status cant be found, install it via

apt-get install debian-security-support
